Newcastle Art Prints
Newcastle Art prints have been created to celebrate Newcastle as a city, the home town of Mono Wave Art's creator, Alex Patterson.
Pantynes are created from 1600 Pantone style swatches. Illustrations are original, unique and not available from anyone else.
Newcastle upon Tyne, usually shortened to just Newcastle, is a city in Tyne and Wear. On the northern bank of the River Tyne.
Newcastle is the most densely populated city in North East England and is the core of the Tyneside conurbation, the 8th most populous urban area in the UK.
It was part of the county of Northumberland until 1400, when it officially became it's own county... it retained this status until it became part of Tyne and Wear in 1974.
Newcastle got it's name after the castle built in 1080 by Robert Curthose.
During the fourteenth century, Newcastle grew as an important centre in the wool trade... and later became a major coal mining and ship building area.
